To be honest, we could not determine its sincerity either. It's a bit late for april fools, though, no?

Either way, it showed up in our Inbox today and we thought it would be an amusing change from MW2 discussion.

It is most likely that it is simply left over code from CoD4 that was not stripped out. This happens fairly often in the industry.

Worth every penny, cannot stress enough how much this is a breath of fresh air for the RPG genre.

To be honest, C&C has sucked since Tiberium Sun. I mean, compare RA1 with RA3. What were they thinking?

Because the 1.5m pirated copies downloaded for the 360 in the past 3 weeks mean nothing, right?

Because the fact that the 360 edition leaked almost a month before release whereas the PC version has only been available for a few days is totally unimportant, yes?

One not coming any time soon. There is simply little attraction to these worlds to break them out of the closet and into the mainstream, it will be some time before Gibsons world becomes a reality.

Signs that the game industry has become just that, an Industry. One that cares more about the paycheck than the product they craft. Unfortunately, it is going to be another few years before the Indie Game scene is like the Indie Film scene.

Too bad, I always hoped I wouldn't have to tell my kids about how great things were when I was their age, hoped that Games would strike out on their own and avoid corporatization and Hollywood.

Then it is well in your interests to buy them, much like the Fallout Trilogy pack that Interplay released a few months back.

They're trying to finance the re-opening of studios like Black Isle, so if you want to see a return to something like a golden age of gaming as opposed to what we have now, definitely check them out ;)

It's worth remembering that these are the two companies dragged before the US trade commission last year for artificially inflating GPU prices by faking competition between them.

Remember back when you shelled out $500 for a new video card? Yeah, it was because of stunts like this.

Powerline networking has been around since before the days of Dial-Up. It has just always been the least popular option compared to the speeds of Ethernet and Fiber. Well, that and the modems required for it back in the day were massive beasts ;)

This article is basically stating that Moores Law runs out in 2013 and we reach a technological Dead-End in terms of computer processing. Whether or not this will be a brick-wall scenario or a singularity remains to be seen, however.

Seriously, no interest at all?

Its worth noting that this is actually nothing new. Back in the 90's, workstations were sold that allowed for multiple-users working within the same program, started with an "N" or something. The original DOOM games by ID software were built like this, with multiple people editing the level simultaneously. It was only when we switched to full 3D that we went with a single user approach.

While Second Life was mentioned in the article as an example, the programmer behind...
